The private deck has a stargazing hot tub and outdoor seating, and inside there’s a cozy reading nook. Large windows fill the space with light, the kitchen is fully equipped, and the bathrooms include a rainfall shower and jetted tub. It feels tucked away in nature, but it’s still just a short drive to Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, Gatlinburg, and the national park. Bear Paw Lodge features high cathedral ceilings and large windows that frame peaceful views of trees and distant mountains. From the moment you walk in, there’s a sense of calm and comfort. Located in the Sky Harbor neighborhood between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, it’s just a short drive to both towns and the Great Smoky Mountains trailheads, a perfect setting for a romantic escape or a quiet family getaway.

Entertainment we provide: Cabin is equipped with fast Wi-Fi and 3 Roku TV's, so byo passwords for Netflix, Amazon, etc. just like at home. We have DVD and Blue-ray movies, board games (for adults and kids), cards, books, kids toys, and some party games. As of early 2025, we upgraded to a 65-inch HDTV along with a new sound system for the living room, enhancing our entertainment experience. Hot tub: It gets drained, cleaned and refilled after every guest. 

Location: The roads leading up to the cabin and the driveway are 100% paved. A small car, full size truck, front-wheel drive only, or a minivan can make it up no problem! 4 wheel drive recommended during winter months/snowfall. If it snows, our neighborhood POA ensures the roads are properly plowed, keeping them clear and safe for travel. 

Bear Safety: Sky Harbor is one of the top places to see black bears. Please do not leave food, drink, or medicines outside or in your vehicle. This will attract all manner of wildlife. Please also keep doors locked at all times. 

Amenities: We have regular drip style coffee AND K-cup brewing. We provide some coffee, filters, and k-cup's to cover your 1st morning. ☕️A "starter pack" of perishable supplies, including hand soap, trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper. Also complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body soap, which will be in each bathroom. If you wish to have items delivered, please contact Smoky Mountain Grocery. They will deliver items to the cabin. 

Other things to note: The primary renter on the reservation must be 25+ years of age and present during the entire stay. No Pets! 3 vehicle max parking. There is a security camera located on the front porch and is turned on at all times. Cell phone service and Wi-Fi are excellent! We do not offer refunds for weather or natural disasters. We recommend purchasing travel insurance through Airbnb to cover any unexpected changes in plans due to illness or weather. While we strive to keep everything in working order, there are no refunds for issues like power outages, internet disruptions, or appliance malfunctions, but please contact me immediately if something goes wrong, and I’ll do my best to resolve it quickly. Cabin sleeps up to 7. 

Guest Feedback: If there is a problem when you arrive or things are not as they should be, please let us know immediately. We will quickly rectify the issue to your satisfaction. We are not able to help people who do not tell us that there is an issue on the front end and, in turn, wait to tell us there was an issue at the end of the stay. We want to make sure that you and your party are well taken care of and happy with your stay! Guests have access to the entire cabin except the owners closet and crawl space. The gas fireplace is easy to use year-round!
